Show Notes

Hey there fellow nerds and geeks!

On this episode of the Hall H Show Podcast, hosts, Aaron Nabus and Alex Benedicto  combine a quick recap of Long Beach Comic Con 2017 and a quick preview of this week’s New York Comic Con 2017, which sadly we won’t be attending. Which is a shame because not only will we be missing out on all the fun, I also really wanted to eat at Friend of Comic Con blog Editor in Chief, Kevin Walwyn’s favorite burger joint, Shake Shack and also at Eric Ripert’s Three Michelin starred, Le Bernardin.

Maybe next year.

But we did attend Long Beach Comic-Con and we had a lot of fun – especially doing a live report for An Englishman in San Diego’s #CupOTeaSDCC YouTube Live Hangout with Leonard Sultana and Alyssa Franks. Aaron organized a pretty good line up of guests which included, Martha Donato, President of Mad Event Management, the company that puts on Long Beach Comic Con, Stephan Franck, the creator of the comic book “Silver”, Franco Te from Tee No Evil and Todd Nauck, artist extraordinaire of Deadpool and Spider-Man just to name a few.

We also did a podcast interview that I really enjoyed with Zack Kaplan, the writer and creator of the comic books “Eclipse” and the upcoming “Port of Earth.” He will also be at New York Comic Con…so look for him in Artist Alley.

Speaking of New York Comic Con, if you happen to be in New York City on Tuesday, October 10, please check out Arlen Schumer’s Jack Kirby VisuaLecture at the 92nd Street Y. But don’t take my word for it. Here is a short promo that Arlen recorded with us after he finished his Jack Kirby VisuaLecture at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.
