Aaron NabusIf Santa Claus was late making his deliveries this year, it was probably because he was too busy spending a few days drooling over the Avengers and Star Wars collectibles that were unveiled by Hot Toys, LTD. at this year’s Toy Soul, which recently took place at the Kowloonbay International Trade & Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong.
The highly-anticipated prototypes for Marvel Studios‘ upcoming epic blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron included all of “Earth’s Mightiest Superheroes”: Iron Man (Mark XLIII), Hulkbuster, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow and the Hulk. Visitors were also treated to the world premiere of a ground-breaking 3 meters tall life-size Hulkbuster that was showcased at Hot Toys’ booth.
Additionally, fan favorite, Thanos, who appeared as the cosmic super villain in this past summer’s blockbuster, Guardians of the Galaxy, was also revealed for the first time worldwide!
Hot Toys also unveiled two figures from Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, a 1/6th scale Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi. And to celebrate Hot Toys having recently becoming Sideshow Collectibles’ sole distributor for Star Wars line of products in Asia, a number of Star Wars 1/6th scale collectible figures and life-size statues were showcased for fans to enjoy.
