We make our way to the technology capital of the world: Silicon Valley. After their sold out Inaugural event last year, Silicon Valley Comic Con 2017 expands beyond the San Jose Convention Center into neighboring venues to accommodate more attendees, panels and exhibitors.
Silicon Valley Comic Con brings together America’s two greatest superheroes: Pop Culture and Technology. Presented by Steve Wozniak and featuring top celebrities, comics, independent artists, cosplay, video games, consumer electronics, music and apps, Silicon Valley Comic Con is where entertainment and our electronic worlds intersect.

Panels
Make sure you plan your panel sessions carefully. Unlike, SDCC, WonderCon and other cons, SVCC will clear out rooms between panels. You will have to exit the room even though the next panel you wish to attend is in the same room and get in line again.
This is from the SVCC site:
Will the panel rooms and ballrooms be cleared out between Panels?
Yes, the panel rooms and ballrooms will be cleared out between Panels, with the exception of VIP ticket holders.
So be careful if you want to attend back-to-back panels, you may have to choose one over the other if both panels may be appealing to others. Here is a list of panels that we would like to attend.

Food
From the map of the Outdoor Festival on the SVCC Facebook page, there will be around 18-20 Food Trucks. SVCC does not have a list of food trucks that will be there but we did some interneting(did we just coin a new term) and found a few that will be there.
3Geeks
There tagline on their truck says it all: Cheesesteaks & Seafood. Do you you feel like Surf, you can choose from fish, shrimp(butterfly or popcorn), clams or oysters with Chips(fries) or as a sandwich, Po Boy style. Or if you craving Turf, they have three varieties of cheesesteaks served on an 8″ roll: beef, chicken or veggie.

Paddy Wagon Sliders
“Serving the Bay Area’s Finest Gourmet Sliders.” Great thing about sliders is you don’t need a table to eat them, you can walk around the Outdoor Festival and check out the exhibits and have your lunch at the same time. While all their sliders look delicious we would have to first try the one they call The O.G. It has a quarter pound beef patty(veggie option available), lettuce, tomato, mild cheddar cheese, pickle, dressed with PWS aioli. You can also add bacon and/or an egg for a small cost. If you brought friends, order some of the other sliders like chicken, fish or pork sausage and share because it’s two sliders per order. Did we mention they have tots.. well they have tots! You can have them plain, upgrade with garlic, cheese and bacon or chili. Or as a meal, boat load of tots topped with fish, chicken pesto or the one that caught our eye, Korean Zombie Tots, sliced BBQ Korean rib eye, topped with kim chi, sour cream, PWS aioli, & green onions.
Local Attractions
If you have time after SVCC there are a few attractions near the Convention Center:
