Show Notes:

Hey there fellow nerds, geeks, artist alley evangelists and supporters of independent creators! Thanks for tuning into the Hall H Show podcast!

We recently attended the inaugural Black Comix Day 2018 that took place on Saturday, February 17 at the Malcolm X Library in San Diego, CA.

This event, organized by Keithan Jones, owner of the comic book publishing company, KID Comics and creator of the comic book, The Power Knights, brought together some amazing black comic book creators.

Two creators, David F. Walker and John I. Jennings joined forces with moderator Hannibal Tabu for the panel, “Heroes Rise: The Importance of Black Artists in Popular Media” which highlighted why events such as Black Comix Day 2018 are needed.

Enjoy this recording of the panel and please go support and buy comics from black independent creators!
