Show Notes:

Hello fellow nerds, geeks and supporters of indie pop culture creators! Aaron Nabus here and thanks for tuning into this episode of the Hall H Show!

On this episode, we welcome back, Brian J. Lambert from Wingless Comics!

He currently has a Kickstarter campaign going on until Friday, March 1, 2024 for his newest project, and it’s an ambitious one, called Air Force Ones. The reason I say ambitious is because it involves a 70 plus page graphic novel, a toy series, AND an animated adventure!

I just recently saw him at Black Comix Day 2024 in San Diego, CA when he was part of the panel that I moderated that touched on Black Culture in Anime and Manga.

Welcome back to the show, Brian!

Thunder Round Questions:

  • What’s one word that you would use to describe yourself?
  • It’s 11pm and you are pulling an all-nighter since you have kicked writer’s block to the curb. But you are starving. What do you eat?
  • King Kong or Godzilla?
  • Do you have any regrets? What are they?
  • If you were President of the United States, what kind of artwork would you hang up in the Oval Office?
  • If you were a character in a comic book or manga, would you be a hero or villain? What kind of powers would you have?
  • What would the title of your biography be?
  • If I gave you a million dollars, what would you do with it? How about $100?
  • Would you do a live action version of Air Force Ones? If a live action version of Air Force Ones were to be made, which actors would you like to play the main characters?

Air Force Ones and the Kickstarter Campaign Questions:

  • If you were at a comic convention, how would you describe Air Force Ones to the people walking by your table?
  • How long have you been working on this story and was there a particular event that helped direct you to this particular story?
  • Could you tell us about a few of the main characters?
  • Were there any campaign challenges that you had difficulty resolving? If so, what were they and how did you overcome them?
  • Who is on the creative team?
  • Any details about the Kickstarter that you’d like to highlight?
  • Is there anything else that you’d like to add concerning the Kickstarter campaign?
