Ep. 72 – Scott Lost

The Hall H Show podcast talked with Scott Lost, about his new comic book, Wanderers of Melissanda. Make sure to visit him and the Accidental Aliens at Small Press, K5 at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. This episode is also available on Google Play, iTunesStitcher, iHeart Radio and Spotify. The Hall H Show is hosted by Aaron Nabus and Alex Benedicto and is the “Voice of Independent Creators.”

Show Notes:

On episode 72, we welcome back Scott Lost, a former pro-wrestler that is now pursuing his dream of being a comic book creator both as an independent creator and as part of the comic anthology group, the Accidental Aliens.

We discuss his newest comic book, Wanderers of Melissanda (which makes it’s debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2019), pro-wrestling, and his creative journey. We also touch on Asian representation in comics and pop culture (Scott is half Filipino).

Thunder Round questions:

  1. If you were a color, what color would you be?
  2. If you could form a tag team with any pro wrestler, who would it be with and why did you pick this person?
  3. Why is Cyclops your favorite X-men?
  4. If you were an X-men, what would your powers be and four other mutants would you want on your team?
  5. If you could have a meal with anyone dead or alive (or fictional), who would it be with and what Filipino dish or dishes would you eat?
