Before we get to episode 81 with Japanese artist, Tamayo Muto, I just want to say thank YOU so much for your support!
We love interviewing creatives like our recent guests from San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Michael Dooley, Tim Ludy, Karla Nappi and Leo Partible. If you haven’t had a chance to check those out, please give them a listen because they each motivated and inspired me.
Our guest for episode 81 also left me and Alex inspired…especially since she only recently started pursuing the fine arts and has already showcased her work in numerous art shows in San Diego and Los Angeles, CA.
Recorded a few months ago in May, just before she was going to fly back home to Japan to finish her college degree, this episode was a fun conversation with Tamayo, whom we had the pleasure of meeting at one of Thumbprint Gallery‘s art shows at Basic in downtown San Diego, CA.
Tamayo proved to be every bit as warm and colorful as the Mexican culture she fell in love with during her stay in Southern California. Although she is back home in Japan, I have a feeling we’ll be seeing her again at a local art show…hopefully soon. Enjoy! ~Aaron
