The Hall H Show podcast welcomes David White. This conversation took place at DesignerCon 2017 and is also available on Google Play, iTunes, Stitcher, iHeart Radio and Spotify. The Hall H Show podcast is hosted by Aaron Nabus and Alex Benedicto.
We hope you’ve been enjoying our DesignerCon 2017 interviews. One thing that we’ve noticed at DesignerCon is the growing presence of 3D printed art.
How fortunate for us that David White, the owner of Mecha Zone and the creator of the Mechanauts and Predanauts 3D printed line of toys, spent some time out of his busy day at last year’s DesignerCon to talk about his passion for this growing medium.
One reason he has been able to successfully jump into 3D printing is that he has 3D modeling skills which he picked up his during video game design days and he is also well versed in illustration and animation. Please make sure to check out some of his concept art and design sketches on his Instagram under “mechazone”.
We enjoyed this conversation with him and look forward to seeing him again at this year’s DesignerCon 2018, which takes place in Anaheim, CA, November 16-18, 2018.
Make sure to check him out at booth 2530 and also check out the video version of this interview, which also includes some footage of some of his creations on our YouTube channel or the blog post for this episode on our website, HallH.com.
On behalf of my co-host, Alex Benedicto, I’m Aaron Nabus and thank you so much for listening and please remember to support independent creators like David White!
