Matt Dunford, returned to the Hall H Show to talk about San Diego Comic Fest 2020! This episode is also available on Google Play, iTunes, Stitcher, iHeart Radio and Spotify. The Hall H Show is hosted by Aaron Nabus and Alex Benedicto and is the “Voice of Independent Creators.”
Hey there Hall H Show listeners! On this episode we welcome back a previous guest!
Chairman, Matt Dunford, gives the Hall H Show an update on what’s in store for San Diego Comic Fest 2020, which takes place March 5-8, 2020 at the Four Points by Sheraton, on Aero Drive in San Diego, CA.
San Diego Comic Fest is the friendly comic convention with a casual and intimate setting that allows fans to interact directly with professionals and exhibitors. Indulge your love of comics, science fiction, and films, and meet an outstanding array of professional creators without high-priced tickets, crowding, or long lines.
You may start out in awe of all the creators in attendance (like this year’s guest of honor, Bill Sienkiewicz) but chances are, you’ll be friends by the end of the last day.
Speaking of guests, here is just a sampling of who you will be able to meet this year:
Science Fiction Guest of Honor Celebrating the Centennial of Ray Bradbury: J. Michael Straczynski
Eisner Hall of Fame Inductees, Inkpot Award-Winning creators of Elfquest, and founders of Warp Graphics: Wendy and Richard Pini
Eagle Award-Winning Writer of The New Teen Titans, Crisis on Infinite Earths, Tomb of Dracula and Eisner Hall of Fame Inductee: Marv Wolfman
Writer on pop culture for Forbes and ICv2, communications educator, and author of Comic-Con and the Business of Pop Culture: Rob Salkowitz
Underground comix and women’s comics pioneer, comics herstorian, award-winning graphic novelist, first woman to draw Wonder Woman for DC, and 2013 Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame inductee: Trina Robbins
Designer, author, instructor, photographer, and contributing editor to Print, the graphic design magazine: Michael Dooley
Comics editor and writer best known for work at DC including overseeing the Green Lantern books during the introduction of fan favorite Kyle Rayner in the Emerald Twilight storyline: Kevin Dooley.
