The Hall H Show podcast welcomes International Mobile Film Festival founder, Susy Botello and Hot Nerd Girl from Star Wars Steampunk Universe to preview this year’s festival. This episode is also available on Google Play, iTunes, Stitcher and Spotify. The Hall H Show podcast is hosted by Aaron Nabus and Alex Benedicto.
Show Notes:
Hey there fellow nerds and geeks, Aaron Nabus here and thanks for tuning into the Hall H Show podcast!
The International Mobile Film Festival 2018 is almost here and I encourage you to swing by and check it out!
Taking place April 28 & 29, 2018 at the Marina Village Conference Center, in San Diego, California, the purpose of this mobile film festival is not only to create interest and spark creativity in people of all ages with limited income or resources but to actually inspire creative filmmakers to live to their potential and realize the opportunity to fulfill their dream.
The International Mobile Film Festival is indeed for everyone around the world…no matter where you are from or how old…or young you are!
For this International Mobile Film Festival 2018 preview episode, both Susy Botello, festival founder and myself attended the Gaslight Gathering, a steampunk convention that was held recently in San Diego, CA, so we could meet up with Tracy (Hot Nerd Girl), who was there with Star Wars Steampunk Universe for a panel about cosplaying for charity.
Star Wars Steampunk was such a welcome addition to last year’s festival, adding some pizzazz as they escorted the filmmakers down the red carpet. We are so happy to welcome them back again this year!
We talk about Tracy’s panel, the film festival and more! I’m so excited and can’t wait to learn from the workshops, screen the movies, meet the filmmakers and have fun on the red carpet!
Speaking of the red carpet…as an added bonus to this podcast episode, I have added a few short red carpet interviews from last year’s festival…enjoy and hope to see you there!
